Upgrade Policy
(Current Version is V2.8x)
The current edition of the book MicroC/OS-II, The Real-Time
Kernel includes V2.52. The software that comes with the book
works and is more than adequate for academic use, and to evaluate
the quality and capabilities of µC/OS-II.
If you are planning on using µC/OS-II in a commercial product, you SHOULD
use the latest version of µC/OS-II because of new features and bug fixes.
You need to contact us and 'register' your design/product. To do this
you EITHER need to download the latest price list (see Price
List) OR send us an e-mail at Licensing@Micrium.com and
include the following information:
1) Your full name
2) Your company name
3) Your company's web site URL
4) The project name
5) The CPU you are planning on using
6) A phone number where you can be reached
7) Your country
8) When will your product be in production?
Registering also allows us to better serve you should you have
technical questions.
Free Upgrades
We provide FREE upgrades for 90 days if you already have a µC/OS-II
license for a product. We also offer yearly maintenance contracts which allow you to get support and automatic updates.
